Last week Airedale had an extremely productive morning. Everyone worked together to make a feast of soup and bread. Our senses were alive with the smells, tastes, textures and sights of sweet potato and carrot soup combined with freshly baked bread. We used some fantastic words to describe our experiences and then put these words into sentences. Please do come and look at the display of photos, quotes and writing in the corridor just outside Airedale class.

This week we learned and participated in five ways we know feel OK:-

Give – We made and gave bookmarks to Friends in Ribblesdale

Notice – We explored the Peace Garden noticing the variety of colours, shapes, textures and smells. We were so quiet we could hear the sound of the leaves in the trees blowing in the wind.

Connect – We joined our Ribblesdale friends for a shared bookworm. We also connected with our Airedale friends during circle time activities.

Be Active – We enjoyed some dry weather by being active on the bikes and scooters

Keep Learning – Lots of learning all the time! Reception children are even beginning to learn their first words. Well done everyone
