This week has been our final week enjoying ‘The Polar Bear and the Snow Cloud’. We have really enjoyed discovering what makes ice melt quickly.
In phonics we have been focusing on y, z, zz and qu. We have also been learning two new tricky words – he and she. I have been so impressed with some of the writing the children have been doing in school this week.
In mathematics we have been using the vocabulary of addition when exploring number bonds to five. Some of us are even beginning to write down our number sentences!
