This week has been our final week reading ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’. We’ve been busy thinking about restocking mum’s cupboards. We’ve written shopping lists for her and thought carefully about healthy choices. We all enjoyed sharing the afternoon with you for our Tiger Tea Party – thank you so much to everyone who came.

In phonics we have been focusing on ‘ck’ ‘e’ ‘u’ and ‘r’. We have also started looking at tricky words ‘the’ and ‘to’ – please keep an eye out for these in books. Tricky words cannot be read using phonics, children need to be encouraged to recognise these on sight.
In mathematics we have been thinking about how numbers are all made up of lots of ones.

Show and tells for Friday 29th November
are Oscar R, Rory and Rosanna. Please talk with your child about what they want to bring in so they have lots to tell us about it.
