Here we are at the end of week 2 of the Summer term. I hope you’re feeling like you’re beginning to settle back into a bit of a routine with learning. I am making calls to families at the moment to check in with you all, but if you do have any queries at any time please feel free to contact me through Seesaw or through the school admin email address.

Our story this week has been Beegu. I’ve been really impressed with some of the ‘lost’ posters you have made. See below for two excellent examples of children who have used their phonics to help them write independently. In phonics we have been learning two new tricky word: have and like. In maths we have been thinking about our number bonds to ten. I’ve really enjoyed the performances of ‘five little men in a flying saucer’ and your programming of the rocket to the different planets has amazed me!

A message from Mr Symonds:
‘Thank you to everyone who let me know that you joined us for the Wednesday worship. It was fantastic to hear some of the things that you have remembered to be thankful for. I hope that you can join me for worship next Wednesday. Stay safe everyone. Mr Symonds.’

Please remember that next Friday is a bank holiday, so try to relax and have a day off from learning.
Looking forward to celebrating VE day with you all next week!
Miss Sherwood
