Another week of amazing learning! I’ve particularly enjoyed your riddles. Some of them really had me thinking hard! I love animals so this has been a really fun week for me, I hope you have enjoyed it too!

We enjoyed listening to the mixed up chameleon this week and creating our own mixed up animals. They were all amazing! I’ve put a few at the end of this blog post to be enjoyed by everyone. I wish some of these animals existed in real life! In phonics our new words have been ‘were’ and ‘there’. In maths we have been thinking about two ideas: one more/less and odd/even. A highlight of the week has been our very first virtual school trip to Edinburgh Zoo! I hope everyone enjoyed checking in on the animals there.

We are currently working on our next virtual project which is the virtual school photo. Thank you to everyone who has already sent me a picture, I have about a third of the class already. If you do want your child to be in the virtual school photo, all you need to do is take a picture of them in their school uniform and send it to bishopdale@richardtaylor.ycway.uk . I am replying with a quick message to tell you it has been received, so if you’ve sent one and not got a reply from me, please send it again.

Next week’s theme is ‘Under the Sea’. I’m looking forward to another week of incredible learning!

Miss Sherwood.
