This week we have been learning all about Autumn and specifically harvest time. We enjoyed going on a squelchy Autumn walk in our school grounds on Tuesday and bringing signs of Autumn back to the class to look at and talk about.

The children all worked really hard to remember our song for the harvest festival this week and performed it beautifully on the day.

In phonics we have learnt the letter ‘s’. You will find a practise sheet in bookbags this week for you to do at home to support your child. You could also look out for the letter or sound ‘s’ in your environment.
In maths we have been learning all about the number 3. We know that three is made up of a two and one, or three ones altogether.

Show and tells for Thursday 24th October are Finlay, George and Jack. Please talk with your child about what they want to bring in so they have lots to tell us about it.
