We have to start this week by congratulating everyone who was involved in this year’s production of ‘Ye Ha’. Both evenings were fantastically supported and the children in year six produced some superb performances. Special mention must go to Mrs Simpson who produced and directed the production magnificently. Look out for photos on the school website.

On Monday this week the KS2 members of our fairtrade group will be visiting ASDA to learn more about the fairtrade products sold by the store. Please note that there is no community tea on Tuesday 12th as previously advertised. After school on Tuesday Mrs Else’s Strings group will be performing to parents, family and friends at 6pm.

After school on Tuesday our rounders team will be taking part in the regional finals at Harrogate Grammar School, they are the defending champions and we wish them well.

On Wednesday, weather permitting; the kitchen staff will be preparing a picnic lunch. In the afternoon the children from Coverdale will be welcoming Mr Terry Kirk back as they continue with their special science project. Wednesday and Thursday are also the transition days for Harrogate Grammar School. On Thursday morning children will be moving to meet their new classes for 2016-2017. There is also an additional transition afternoon for the new starters in Airedale between 2-3pm

Finally on Friday we will be welcoming Mr Ian Johnson back to school to thank him for all of his hard work during the year as part of the ‘Seedlings at School’ project which has seen every child in school involved in a planting project during the year.

We are a little behind with our yellow jersey photos and will try to catch up next week. The photos below come from the Dentdale and Ribblesdale trip to Tropical World last week.
