We hope you have enjoyed the lovely weather and looking forward to the summer holidays!

On Monday, we quickly did our spelling and dividing by seven test. Then we finished and wrote up in neat our end of year reviews. They record what we have enjoyed, found hard and the progress we have made. After break, Mr Whitely came in to our class to talk about the summer reading challenge. In the afternoon, we did PE. In PE, some of us did games while others did javelin.

This Tuesday, in the morning, year fours marked their maths papers that they did last week while the year fives wrote a letter to the new starters telling them all about our school and what it is like. After break, we marked our SPAG papers with the year fives. In the afternoon, we did ICT.

Wednesday, we were very privileged to have Tom Palmer come in to our school and give a talk on his football books. He did a quiz with us and we had lots of fun answering questions and taking penalties. Over the day, he took a handful of children to do a special writing workshop. After break, we went through the rest of maths papers and marked them.

On Thursday, we all went to our new classes. We had fun designing our own super heroes with their own unique style and personality. After break, we went back into our new classes. In the afternoon, we had a buddie from Bishopdale and we played games with them in PE.

Tomorrow, we will are going to do maths, English, and in the afternoon, we will do topic.
