Dear Coverdale,

We are sorry that we cannot be teaching you at the moment because school has had to close. Below is a list of things we would like you to be doing to keep busy learning whilst you are at home:

  • Reading Comprehension from your books- aim for 1 each week
  • 1 Mental Maths Test out of your books each week
  • Enjoy reading a range of books, comics and magazines
  • Keep visiting TTRockstars to smash those times tables

  • Non-screen activities to do at home ideas on the sheet in your red homework books
  • Mindfulness
Activities to try are also in your books
  • You could keep a special diary of your time away from school- write about what you get up to, your thoughts and feelings
  • Visit www.mathswithparents.com
for great maths revision tasks (passwords will be sent out to your parents)

Most excitingly, check out our online learning activities on the Office365 Teams App. We will be posting learning tasks and top messages for you all throughout the week. There is nothing new- it’s just a fab opportunity for you to keep practising things you have already been shown. You will need to use your special code and follow the instructions included in your books.

Mrs Styles and Mrs Crisell will be checking their class email during school day hours every day. Please keep in touch and do ask if you need anything:

Stay busy! Stay safe! Most of all…stay smiling!
