This week we have been writing our own stories about different animals who came for a meal!
We have been learning about countries and cities in the UK and also getting ready for Harvest festival.
Our Harvest message is eat less meat to make a difference to our planet as well as our health. We wrote a letter to the school kitchen to ask for a meat free harvest festival day. Jo the cook made two delicious kinds of veggie pizza. We sang a song with Swaledale to George Ezra’s Shotgun music to give the message that vegetables are yum! yum! Ask your child to sing it to you! They were great!
The first 5 children have become so good at their lead-ins and flicks that they have now been asked to join their letters all of the time. We are very proud of them.
