This week Will Champion came to talk to us about road safety. We also had a visit from an American lady called Sandra. She told us about the first Thanksgiving in October 1621. The Pilgrims said thank you to the Native Indians who had helped them when they first arrived in America and the Pilgrims shared their first harvest and had a celebratory meal. Now Americans still have a big meal (usually with turkey) to celebrate and say thank you to their friends, family and others who help them. We thought about who we can say thank you to.

In Maths we are learning about division as sharing and grouping.

We have begun to learn our Nativity lines as year 2 children narrate the story. They will need lots of practice at home to say them loudly, clearly and slowly (and with expression!). Not long now!
