We have finally made it to the end of a very strange week. You will very shortly be receiving a newsletter full of information, which we hope you will find useful.

It is really important that we continue to make sure that everyone feels part of our school community and we hope that the newsletter is one way of bringing everyone together.

Every member of staff has commented that they are thrilled with the way in which families have responded to the on-line learning platforms, blog posts and suggested websites.

Please remember that all of this information is a resource for you to access at the time and in the way that works for your family. It is not a prescriptive list and we are not expecting every child to complete every activity every week. We know that everyone is balancing the need to support their families. Learning should never become a burden; this is not homework it is working from home, which is an important difference. Bake if you can, garden if you can, play a board game, watch a film, write a letter. These are all parts of the learning process for your children.

I know that many of you will be providing support for each other, which is wonderful. The friends prayer group, Just Be and Mrs Styles are all there to provide support if you need it. If you get a phone call from someone at school, please don’t panic. We are going to do everything we can for as long as it is needed to be there for our families.

Remember weekends and Easter Holidays matter just as much to you as a family as the need to access on line learning platforms

The newsletter has baking and gardening suggestions as well as a great activity to support the elderly in our community.

Stay safe and enjoy learning together.

The picture below was created out of chalk this week at school and has been sent out to everyone to enjoy.
