Before we look ahead I would like to thank everyone for the photographs and pictures which they sent to us last week as they prepared to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day last Friday. We appreciate all of the work shared with us. We hope that you all enjoyed our Wednesday Worship last week and the special contribution made by Mrs Wake which was fantastic.

On Sunday evening the Prime Minister will announce the next stage of the national response to the COVID-19 crisis as we hopefully begin to take the first steps towards coming out of the existing complete lockdown. Everyone will have their own views and opinions about the approach which they would like to see taken. At RTS we recognise that everyone will be struggling in different ways as we move into the eighth week of lockdown. We will be sending out a message to all families early next week with a full update regarding what the announcement means for the RTS community. Until then please remember that, whilst the staff continue to work hard preparing work for the seesaw platform and responding to the wonderful work being sent in, the message is do what you can, when you can and in the best way to suit your family.

I would like to congratulate both Lenny and Jay for their fantastic efforts fundraising for the NHS by cycling around their garden. A brilliant effort well done!

Finally congratulations to Evie and Freya for managing to successfully bake their own victory cake following the recipe that I send out last week.
