I hope that everyone was able to see a copy of the wonderful report in this week’s Harrogate Advertiser which focussed on our recent Ofsted Report. Look out for some of the photos from our fantastic joint Trinity Day last Thursday with our partners at St Peter’s. It was a great success and enjoyed by everyone involved. I would also like to thank all of the parents who supported the cake sale held by Nidderdale and Swaledale classes last week to raise funds for the Blue Cross animal charity. The cakes were delicious and I look forward to seeing how much money both classes raised.
This week starts with the 2nd day of the Yr6 Bikeability programme. At the start of the afternoon our school council will meet for the last time this academic year. After school the friends are hoping to hold the first of this half term’s film nights for children in Ribblesdale and Dentdale classes. I know that they are still looking for more help with the event and so if you are available please let the office know on Monday morning.
On Tuesday the children in year 5 will be participating in the delayed anti-bullying workshop in the morning. At the start of the afternoon we welcome Roberta to lead our worship for the last time before she leaves the Methodist Chapel in August
On Wednesday the children from Coverdale, Nidderdale and Swaledale will all be attending the annual Countryside Day at the Yorkshire Show Ground. This is always a highlight of the year and we have our fingers crossed for good weather.
I also hope that better weather will allow the athletics, cricket and tennis after school clubs to take place on Thursday.
On Friday the children from Swaledale and Nidderdale will welcome someone from the Blue Cross Animal Charity who is visiting the school to talk about the work that they do.
The photograph of the yellow jumper winners from last week will appear on the website on Monday.
The photographs below show the children from RTS and St Peter’s working together during last week’s Trinity Day.
