The second week of the spring term is already looking a busy one. At one o’clock Bob will be having his haircut by some of the children after going for one year to raise money for a cancer charity. There is still time to support Bob either by buying a raffle ticket or by making a donation at his just giving page.

The first friends meeting of the year will take place in the staffroom at 7pm on Monday, please come along and support the work of the friends this term.

On Tuesday we welcome Ruth to lead our worship on the theme of confidence with humility.

Wednesday is the 2nd week of the Harrogate Drama Club after school and week one of the year 5/6 Tchouckball Competition at Harrogate High School. On Thursday afternoon Swaledale Class will be visiting pigment productions, a local printing firm, to learn more about the printing process.

The week ends with many of the children having the chance to sample Zumba exercises in the Hall on Friday morning when Mr Sarmento will be joining us to lead sessions for different classes.

The photographs below show the first yellow jumper winners of the term as well as pictures of some of the children making pasta with Mellors on Friday. The final photos show children enjoying the Young Voices event in Sheffield last week. Thank you to all of the parents who supported the children and to the staff who accompanied the children. You may identify a special celebrity who stopped by for a photograph.

As promised last week dates for your diary this term include, Internet Safety Day on 11th February, World Book Day on 5th March and the Easter Service at 10am on Friday 3rd April.
