Another busy week at RTS. Our well being week starts with a being active focus on Monday and includes Sports Day (weather permitting). We look forward to welcoming parents and friends at 1.15pm, as well as Stray FM at the end of the day.

Throughout the week staff and children will be using materials from Compass Buzz to think about the five areas of wellbeing: be active, take notice, give, keep learning and connect.

Mr Whiteley, from Bilton library, will be joining our worship time on Tuesday to tell us about the summer reading challenge. This year it has a space theme to link to the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Our gardening group have been busy giving their time weeding in the wildlife garden. They are looking forward to their last visit to Mr Grove’s allotment Tuesday afternoon. After school Harrogate Town FC will be delivering their girls football club.

On Wednesday there will be a special martial arts event for some classes and KS2 will be receiving a presentation on the safe use of drones from Lesley at Volatus Imaging. Harrogate Town FC will be back on Wednesday morning to deliver football coaching.

On Thursday Ribblesdale and Dentdale will be heading to Harewood House on their school trip. Meanwhile ten of our science and eco ambassadors will be presenting their science projects at the IRIS conference, at the STEM centre in York.

On Friday the children from Swaledale and Nidderdale will be enjoying week 3 of our Values Mosaic Project. We will also be having a very special visitor in worship from therapy Dogs.
