Happy New Year, I hope that everyone has had a wonderful Christmas break and that you are looking forward to what will be a very busy and enjoyable spring term.

I would like to thank everyone for their kind messages and thoughts since my accident. The good news is that over the holidays I had an operation to plate my arm back together; everything went well and my arm is well on the road to a full recovery. Unfortunately I am not yet fit to be back at school and so the term will start with Mrs Crisell leading the school community. This is something that she always does brilliantly and I hope that you will give her your full support as the term starts.

The school’s new entrance will remain closed until we have moved into the new rooms and the external works are completed. Until further notice the school will continue to use the temporary office in the same way as we did last term.

Please remember that Monday is a staff training day and that term will start for the children on Tuesday 8th January.

There is a lot to look forward this term and I look forward to being back asap to join in the fun.
