To All Parents,
I am confirming that, as we predicted last night, Richard Taylor School will be closed due to snow today. With snow already falling and the forecast confirming further snow throughout the day the sensible decision is to shut and re-open tomorrow, Friday 15th January.
The online learning will continue through the day but a chance for children to enjoy the snow safely is more important for their mental health and wellbeing than hours of screen time. Teachers are aware of the importance of allowing children to experience the joy of playing in the snow when days like this come along. Please stay safe everyone.
