An eggscellent eggsperiment

In our topic we have been learning about teeth and we put eggs in different liquids to see the effect on the egg shells. We had to predict what would happen over a week.

We used orange juice, vinegar, water, milk, Coca Cola and had a control egg with no liquid.

Some of the liquids have acid in them and we know that this can affect your teeth.

Jamie and Finlay thought cola would affect the shell the most. Quite a few of us thought that vinegar would have the most effect.

We found that orange juice, and cola had started to dissolve the shell, milk stayed eggsactly the same! Vinegar made the shell really soft. It all looked disgusting!!

In our maths we have been doing work on remainders.
