The Nidderdale blog, on the RTS website, will be regularly updated with information about online activities and which platform or website to use. The main platforms will be Seesaw and Microsoft Teams. Both are available via apps and Google.

Seesaw codes have been sent home with children tonight, along with a maths website suggested by Mrs Crisell. Over the next few days, I will assign some activities to the class. If you have difficulties logging in, please get in touch – the office will redirect emails to me.

Teams has not yet been fully set up by the Academy Trust technicians, so may take a little while longer to start to use. Each child will receive an email address, enabling them to log into our class to access the platform. Hopefully this will be available before the end of the week.

I would recommend that children don’t spend more than an hour at a time at a screen and we are certainly not expecting them to sit and work all day! I have said this to the class too. It’s a great opportunity to do a different kind of learning perhaps.

TTRockstars is always available – I will set up some battles for the children. We’ve also looked at Topmarks times tables activities this week.

We will email parents of children who’ve been at home this week, so you have all the information.
