November in Nidderdale

We’ve had a busy time recently preparing and painting our poppy jars, making Remembrance windows and writing fantastic stories about being in the trenches in WWI. We’ve made a Remembrance display in the classroom showing some of our work.

Last Friday, Pudsey came to visit us as we put our pennies on his picture. He was very impressed!

We’ve also been learning about Victorian schools. We are not impressed that children had to be seen and not heard – we’re not sure we could keep that up all day.
