Hello Nidderdalers,

I hope you’ve had a great weekend and are still enjoying the good weather. I’ve been getting out and about with the dogs too. Ciara was 7 yesterday – she spent most of her birthday snoozing in the sun!

I saw some lovely work last week – excellent hedgehog posters, some fabulous earth day related work too and I’ve shared some of it with Mr. Symonds and Mrs Crisell.

This week we are focusing on butterflies – some science, art and English activities which I’ve staggered over two days, so more activities will appear on Tuesday. Looking forward to hearing what you do with Tuesday’s diary work!

Maths – more compass direction work, ready for map work and coordinates coming soon.

22 of you are registered with ‘Maths with Parents’ already and there’s more maths work on there. TTRockstars battle on Wednesday as the forecast doesn’t look great. Next week we could challenge Coverdale perhaps.

Some history work about Knaresborough Castle coming later in the week too.

Wednesday is International Dance Day – what song gets your feet tapping? Any recommendations?

I’m in school all day tomorrow, so won’t be looking at any work until Tuesday. Have a good week,

Mrs Wake
