This term we launched a competition to design your own tree champion. This is someone who looks after our trees because they are so important. Our winners were Amelia from Dentdale and Geri from Wharfedale. Well done!

We are coming to the end of an event called switch of fortnight. During that event we have had to go around the school checking if all electricity is off, if not being used. Also we had a switch off day where some of the classes chose not to use electricity. Over the week we managed to save 3.44kWh a day. If we kept this up over the year we would save 671kWh a year!

Our next big project is redesigning our wildlife area. Mrs Norton has drafted up some amazing plans and we have given our ideas. We are looking forward to work beginning on our wildlife area next year.
