Welcome back after half term, please remember that the school is closed on Monday for the final staff training day of the year.

The first week of the final term of the school year is certainly a busy one. On Tuesday the first group of year 6 pupils will take part in their Bikeability training. Also on Tuesday morning we welcome Amy Lyons from St Aidan’s to lead PE sessions for some of our classes. Worship in the afternoon will be led by Ruth from St John’s Church, after our worship she will accompany the children from Swaledale class up to church where they will explore the prayer stations which have been set up by the church.

On Wednesday Matt Lunn from Bilton Methodists will be running the 1st session of his yr3/4 after school football club.

Thursday is a very special day for the children in KS2 when we will join with our MAT partners at St Peter’s to take part in a morning of music, dance and art all focussed on the Christian concept of the Trinity. The children from Yr3/4 will travel to St Peter’s to enjoy the morning whilst our Yr5/6 children will welcome their peers from St Peter’s who will come to RTS to participate in the activities which will all take place in the morning. Look out for lots of photos on the school website.

Look out for the latest newsletter which will be published at the end of this week and will contain all of the key dates for the rest of the year.
