The New Year has gone off to a great start! We have been receiving new school books and jobs which we are very excited about.
English
In English we have been making posters about how to stay safe at school, there were many colourful designs. Some included text boxes and lists though some people decided to show off their amazing writing. We used stencils, coloured pencils and coloured pens.
Maths
In Maths we have been learning how to read large numbers like a million and a billion, but to help us to expand our learning we have been writing the numbers in numbers and letters alongside adding several numbers to one number. We have also have been learning our Key Instant Recall facts (K.I.R.F.) this week we have been learning our number bonds to 100/1,000. But it doesn’t matter if we make a mistake because we know that our mistake will make our brain grow!
