Maths:

In Maths we have been learning about different types of graphs and how to interpret them. Some people found this hard and it was tricky at times but we all succeeded without giving up.

RE:

On Wednesday, we enjoyed learning about certain parts of the Lord’s Prayer and the meaning of some of the words. We also rewrote the Lord’s Prayer so it would be easy for KS1s to read and understand.

PE:

In PE we joined up with Wharfedale and had a huge game of bench ball. We had lots of teams and it lasted a long time.

Assessments:

This week we have been focusing on doing assessments and have so far finished two maths assessments and one reading assessment. We have been doing them because Mrs Simpson and Mrs Warby want to find out what we all need to work on. They say we have nothing to worry about because the assessments show us what we still need to learn.

World Book Day:

On Thursday we all dressed up as characters from books to celebrate World Book Day. Prizes were awarded to Will, Lottie and Jacob who dressed up as Bill (from Bill and Ben), The Cat in the Hat and The BFG.
