In Wensleydale this week, the year 6’s got all their privilege points so they can sit on the benches.
English
In English this week we have been making our persuasive posters. We have also been planning our letters to persuade citizens of earth to go up to the axiom spaceship so the robots can clean the world, just like in the film Wall-E. Today we wrote out our persuasive letters.
Maths
In Maths we have been learning about the maths vocabulary that is associated with quadrilaterals. One of the other things we did was drawing 2d shapes accurately. We learnt a lot about how to draw perfect lines and shapes. We did measuring angles accurately with Mr Symonds (which was fun) and we learnt a lot. The last thing we did was drawing shapes with a set square(which is what you use to draw a right angle.)
