The Mayor:
On Monday, in worship the mayor of Harrogate district came in to see us. He told us about what he did for his job and we got to ask some questions. One was: “What did you get your MBE for and did you go to Buckingham palace for it?” (It was for sorting out safe crossings outside schools when he was a councillor, and he was awarded it at Buckingham Palace by Princess Margaret!)
Christmas Fair:
On the 6th December, Year 5 and 6 will be hosting the Christmas fair games. Everyone at school and the parents of children will be allowed a go. At the moment, we are making our games ready for using in a week’s time.
‘Be Thankful For’ Poems:
We thought of some ideas that had a negative at the start then a positive at the end to write our poems. We then typed our ideas onto the laptops in ICT, some of them had 12 lists in them!
