Happy Science Week!

This week all of our work is science based. This is a theme that lots of people can share in on the fun at home.

Science is all around us and I know that some of you will love the activities that I’ve set for you this week.

Please remember that you can post anything that you’d like to share with us on Seesaw…it doesn’t have to be the work that I’ve set. If you’d like to share anything…please do!

As you’re enjoying your science this week, see if you can identify which ‘arm’ of science you are studying. Is it chemistry, physics or biology?

There are also so many ways that you can work scientifically. See if you can identify the skills you’re using this week. Are you…

  • Asking questions and predicting?
  • Planning?
  • Observing and Measuring?

  • Setting up and performing a test?
  • Reporting?
  • Recording?
  • Concluding?

There are some fantastic science activities here… https://pstt.org.uk/resources/curriculum-materials/Science-at-Work

Another great website if you’d like to do more at home is… https://www.greatscienceshare.org/getinvolved2020#get-involved2020

Explorify… Go onto the website and do some ‘Zoom in and Zoom out’

Have a super week and keep investigating, asking questions and exploring.

Keep safe and take care,

Lots of love from Mrs Simpson
