In English:
We have been doing character descriptions on wizards and had a live session for the ‘500 Words’ challenge. 500 Words is a national writing competition; a famous celebrity reads out the winner’s story on the radio.
In Maths:
We have been finding fractions of whole amounts, such as 2/3 of 15 = 10. We have also been relating fractions to decimals and percentages.
In Guided Reading:
We have been reading a biography about J.K Rowling and her life. We answered questions about the author and her lifestyle.

Reading 5 times a week.
