This week, in maths, we have been working on percentages, for example, 52% of £3.46. It has been very hard but now everyone in Wharfedale knows how to work out percentages of any amount.

In Literacy, we have been looking at writing a non-chronological report about a dragon. In our topic Harry Potter, Hagrid gets a dragon and he keeps it until it is old. On Thursday, we wrote a non-chronological report about a Komodo Dragon. We gathered facts together as a team to display on an A1 piece of paper. We were so pleased with our work, that we showed our completed tasks in worship. We collected facts like the diet, habitat, size and strength of the Komodo dragon.

In PE, we have been working in 2’s or 3’s to create a gymnastics routine, which had to contain at least five movements or actions. We have gymnastics on a Tuesday and on Wednesday, we learnt about the skills of dodgeball.
