This week, in literacy we have been learning about what a precept is and how to write one. A precept is any rule about something really important, for example it could be a motto or a famous quote. It links into Wonder (our topic) because Auggie’s teacher, who is called Mr Browne, was doing it with them. In the lesson we made some of our own precepts.

In maths, we have been learning about mental subtraction and the best methods to work out calculations; such as 58-19. One calculation we had to do was 260-190. We also did some mental multiplication.

In ICT we have been making posters on how to keep safe online. We were using a website that the teachers use all about internet safety.

This has been our week and we can’t wait for our next one.
