We have never seen a class do so much in a week. And that equals a good job.

In maths we have been subtracting and exchanging. We have been using diennes (tens and ones).

We have been mixing different colours to make another colour. Eg: Red and blue= purple, Green and yellow= orange and blue and yellow= green.

We began the week by reciting our poem spaghetti, spaghetti in our school competition. Well done everyone- you were fantastic!

On Tuesday Dr Murray from St Aiden’s came to talk to us about The Great Fire of London. It was brilliant and we all enjoyed learning lots of facts.

Healthy Bodies

On Wednesday Danielle from Mellors came and gave us lots of different vegetables including beetroot, brussel sprouts and asparagus.

We are now in full swing learning songs for our nativity and are looking forward to performing it in a few weeks.

Well done Dentdale!
