This week is already beginning to look like the busiest of the new term already.

On Monday the team from the NSPCC return to school to complete more of their ‘Stay Safe’ work with the children fromYr5/6. The rest of the school will find out who the first super pupils of the year are during our worship.

On Tuesday we will be heading up to St John’s Church at 1pm for the start of the year service which starts at 1.15 and will be led by Rev Andy Patrick, everyone is welcome to join us.

On Wednesday the children will get the chance to enjoy the live theatre performance of the play ‘A Twist in Time.’ Based upon the classic tale ‘Tom’s Midnight Garden,’ and performed by M&M productions. During the afternoon Wharfedale Class will be visiting St John’s Church as part of their RE lesson and will be shown around by Rev Simon Dowson. After school is week two of the yr3/4 football matches played at Harrogate High School.

On Thursday Airedale Class hope to be visiting Roots and Fruits and the Eco Experts will be holding their first meeting of the year at 1pm.

Also on Friday the Friends will be holding the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning in the hall from 9-10am; It is a great way to meet people if you are a new parent and a highly worthwhile cause worth supporting. It would also give you the chance to have a look at the fantastic photos which have been installed in our hall which represent our 9 values.

This week’s after school clubs include Tag Rugby, Netball, Choir and Street Dance.

Next week is our Harvest Festival, Community Tea and NSPCC sponsored maths event. We also hope to have some very exciting news about Tim Peake.

The photos below show last week’s yellow jumper wearers as well as our worship leaders with Tracey Weaver from the NSPCC.
