After a great summer break it is wonderful to welcome everyone back to Richard Taylor School for what will be a busy autumn term.

The first thing to remind everyone is that Monday is a staff training day and that the school will open for the new term on Tuesday 4th September with doors opening at 8.50am.

Construction work on our exiting new entrance area is due to begin shortly, more information will be made available in the first newsletter of the year published this week, The school office has completed its move to Arkendale Room which can be found at the back of the school and can be accessed via the key stage two playground. Signs will direct everyone uncertain how to find the new location. Both the Bilton Lane and Hall Lane gates will be open as normal and access to all of the classrooms will be via the usual entrances.

Please avoid taking a shortcut through the school car park to get to the new office; it is a very busy area with staff, deliveries and visitors all using the car park and we want to avoid any increase in pedestrian use of the car park.

I look forward to catching up with everyone at the start of another school year and welcoming all of our new starters to RTS
