I need to start this week’s Blog by thanking everyone who gave so generously to our Harvest Festival. The photographs below show the amazing results. Thank you also to all of the friends who turned our gifts into Harvest boxes. These were given out on Friday at our Harvest Tea. There are still a few boxes left and so if you know of anyone who would welcome a gift please call into the school office. Remaining Tins will be taken to the Mowbray Foodbank.

This week, Monday will be a busy day for everyone as we get the individual photographs taken by the team at Tempest. After school it is the first film night of the year for the children in Airedale and Bishopdale. On Monday evening the friends will be holding their next planning evening for the Christmas Fair.

We welcome Amy Lyons from St Aidan’s to school for the first time this year on Tuesday when she will be working with some of our classes as a specialist sports coach. After school at 6pm we will be holding the parent’s information evening for the children going on this year’s residential trip.

On Wednesday the children from Swaledale and Nidderdale are off on their trip to the Chocolate Experience in York. After school the children from year 3/4 will be taking part in week two of the football tournament at Harrogate High School.

Thursday sees the kitchen team invite the parents of new starters to join them for lunch which will be delicious pizza.

Finally on Friday please look out for the ballot papers which will be sent out for the parent governor elections. We have three candidates standing, good luck to all of them.

At 2pm on Friday the Friends Prayer Group will be meeting in the staffroom. Please remember all are welcome to join the group, prayers can also be left in the prayer box in the school entrance.
