Council Chambers:

On Monday, the Year 5s went to the Council Chambers to meet the mayor. We got to dress as the Mayor and the Mayoress with their solid gold chains as well! Some of the Year 5s also had a go at speaking through the microphones.

On Wednesday, we discussed whether we agree with this statement: ‘I think that we should all turn off our computers and consoles between 9pm and 9am.’ Some people agreed because they would get better sleep and they’re maybe not in the internet world. Some people disagreed because some adults have to work at night and day.

In Maths, we have been learning about the co-ordinates of shapes and we also played co-ordinates BINGO which works like this: You have a card with some co-ordinates marked on it and then someone calls out some co-ordinates. If you get six matching co-ordinates on your card then you get BINGO.
