The Friends of Richard Taylor
We are an informal group of people, who meet regularly to organise events to bring people together, whether that be to raise funds for the school or for social occasions and anyone is welcome to attend, whether that be to listen to ideas put forward, contribute with suggestions of possible events, or offer assistance with any of the events being run. Although you can still help at events if you can’t make the meetings.
Some of the events held include: Film Nights –Bunny Bounce– Christmas Fayre –Macmillan Coffee Morning and Cake Sales to name but a few.
The high standards expected and attained by the school are aided by the additional income generated from this group. The funds raised over the last couple of years have made a significant contribution to purchasing additional equipment for the children to enhance their learning environment; whether that be new computers, PE equipment, and contributions towards major projects, such as large equipment for the playground, sports kits and the wild life area.
