Thank you to everyone who supported our Children in Need fundraising on Friday last week, we will let everyone know the total raised in due course.

You will have seen the Friends Newsletter with further information on the Christmas fundraising activities coming up.

On Friday this week, it is the Friends Annual non-uniform day where the children can wear non-uniform and bring a small item of confectionary (not just chocolate) which are then used on the very popular Tombola Stall at the Christmas Fair being held on Friday 2nd December from 3pm.

Information has also now gone out regarding the nativity performances on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th December, if you have a child in KS1 and have not received this please contact the school office.

On Friday we welcome Tim Bradshaw and this Rock Steady Team who will be leading a very special music-based worship for the children to enjoy.

This Wednesday is also the last Lantern Building Session after school. On Monday 28th November we will be holding our Advent Service after school. Children chosen to be lantern bearers will process from School at 4pm up to St John’s for a short service being led by Rev Laura Martin and the children. The service itself starts at 4.30pm and will finish at 5.15pm. I hope that you will be able to join us for what is always a magical service to start the festive season.

Please remember that we are on both Twitter and Instagram @rtsharrogate. Please follow us for regular posts of exciting things happening at school.

The photos below show our Pudsey Pennies Portrait and the children working in lantern building club.
