This week and next we are focusing on the story ”The Tiger Who Came to Tea’. We have been so busy getting ready for our Tiger Tea party next Wednesday and hope that everyone has an adult – whether that be mum, dad, grandad, grandma etc – to come and play.
In phonics we have been focusing on g, o, c and k. Please keep supporting your children with their blending. This could be a part of your everyday routine as you ask your children to ‘brush your t-ee-th‘ etc. Or you could make it into a game and play ‘Simon Says’. For example ‘Simon says touch your ‘h-ea-d’.
In mathematics we have been learning about the number five. We have been counting to five and ordering numbers to five. We know that five can look different and that it is four ones, one and four as well as two and three.
