What a brilliant week!

On Monday, we did fractions and we are learning about equivalent fractions. Then we did about newspaper articles, we learnt about Houdini. In the afternoon, we did training to be an astronaut in PE so we did skipping and obstacle courses.

This Tuesday, we went on our incredible school trip to the Pavilions of Harrogate! We got on our coach and when we got there, we did our different activities. We made butter, sausages and learnt about both eggs and bread. We all came together and had a delicious breakfast of sausages, bacon, yoghurt and fruit.

Wednesday, we did some more fractions and then we planned our newspaper report. In the afternoon, we learnt about why we have night and day also about why we have seasons.

Today, we first did maths and then we had a very special visitor who was Ben’s Grandad. He told us about him watching the moon landing and we made notes for our newspaper. After break, we learnt about reports and pretended that we were newspaper reporters for the Coverdale Crew. In the afternoon, we will be designing and making our own rockets.

Tomorrow, we will do literacy, maths and carrying on with our rockets. Don’t forget to check out our Google hangout with Jacqueline and William. Details are in our homework diaries.
