WELCOME TO COVERDALE BLOG
Monday, today we have been have been doing maths and we have really enjoyed it. We have done some reading as well. We have done some subtraction and used both bar models and column method.
Tuesday, today we have had the LEGO day. Mr Symonds has really wanted a LEGO day. We say thank you to the Friends of the School because we have had a great day.
Wednesday, today in English we looked at the gibbons in Kensuke’s Kingdom. We got into our guided reading groups. We learnt the meaning of words in a text about Gibbons. We really enjoyed it; now we know words we didn’t know before.
Thursday, today we have been finishing our Gibbon work. Later on today we are doing sketching of a gibbon with Mr Symonds using graphite pencils. We will also think about the story of The Good Samaritan. It will be great fun!
