Despite the dreadful weather on Tuesday our visit to Skipton castle was a huge success. We learnt so much more about life in a castle. It was really interesting and everyone was fascinated by the dungeon and the ‘long drop’ toilet! We now know how cold it would be to live in a castle a long time ago! Did you know that the four poster bed had fabric on top to keep the bird droppings from falling on the Lord and Lady.
We have really enjoyed watching and performing in the talent show today.
