What an amazing science week we have had!

On Monday Mrs Craig from St Aidan’s came in and we did lots of amazing experiments. We even made slime!

On Tuesday Tracy from St John Fisher’s came in with Fluffy the snake! We were able to hold and touch it, then we watched it eat a mouse whole! We couldn’t believe our eyes!

On Wednesday we braved the weather and went to Woodfield library. Kath and Richard showed us all around and we enjoyed the beautiful books that are there. After lunch we learnt about the stars and constellations in the dome.

Then on Thursday it was our trip to Harlow Carr. We enjoyed hunting for different kinds of leaves and made a Christmas star wand out of willow. We were surprised that willow is so flexible and that is why the BFG sculpture is made out of willow.
