Welcome to another busy week at Richard Taylor School. Congratulations to Coverdale Class who have been chosen to be the Harrogate Advertiser’s Class of the Week for their work in joining schools from across Yorkshire in a virtual Fairtrade lesson; this follows Ribblesdale Class who featured in last week’s edition.

On Monday our School Council will meet together in person for the first time since the first lockdown with a lot of items on their agenda for discussion. We are delighted to be able to welcome Mrs Wake back to school following her recovery from surgery.

On Tuesday we are hoping to see the work begin on the installation of the school’s new cycle rack.

PC Wilson will be visiting the school during the week to help us with the ongoing issue of dangerous parking around school, particularly in the mornings. Please remember to consider the safety of everyone when looking for somewhere to park and drop off in the morning.

Please look out for a new e-safety newsletter which will be published on Monday and will be a monthly feature. It’s aim is to provide parents with the information they need to be more aware of the latest risks and dangers identified online.

The QR code for the week is from Wensleydale Class who tell us what they have been learning this week
