Thank you to everyone who has started following the school via its Instagram page @rtsharrogate we have gained well over 100 followers in the last few days and will be looking to post some of the fantastic things happening at RTS every week.

I am sure that you will be as proud as I was of all the children who came together for our 2 minutes silence on the 11th of November. The children and staff observed the national period of silence in the KS2 playground, and their respectful commemoration was very moving.

This is a very busy week in school with lost happening. On Tuesday the parent wellbeing group will be meeting in school from 1pm, if you have not attended one of these meetings, they are an informal opportunity for parents to join our SENCo Mrs Styles and Wellbeing Lead Ms Robertson for a coffee and conversation.

Clubs running this week include TAG rugby and Choir on Monday, Lantern Club on Wednesday and Chess Club on Friday.

On Monday we will be celebrating our latest chosen Super Pupils from each class and on Tuesday we welcome Alan Crump to lead our worship.

Friday 18th November is Children in Need Day. For the first time in a number of years we are going to be building our giant Pudsey Bear Picture out of small change. It is time to start digging out the 1p,2p.5p,10p and 20p coins from cupboards, pockets and down the side of the sofa. It will not be a non-uniform day but if children want to wear a piece of yellow clothing or Pudsey t-shirt from their wardrobe they can do so.
