I hope that everyone has managed to enjoy a wonderful Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend. There are many photos on the website and I have included a few for you to enjoy below. I especially want to thank Jo and Liz in the kitchens for their fantastic effort in baking buns and a cake for every child in the school. They really helped to mark a very special occasion. As well as planting our Jubilee Beech Tree on the last day of term we are going to end our celebrations on Tuesday 7th June with a Jubilee Picnic Lunch on the school field weather permitting.

Please remember that Monday 6th June is a school training day, the staff will be involved in some very special training led by the nationally renowned team of Zena Martin and Cole Andrew from Inclusive Learning North who are leading our training day and will be looking at inclusive classrooms, quality first teaching and how we can meet the needs of all learners at RTS.

Mr Groves will be back at school on Tuesday afternoon to work with the gardening club on planting up their special veg box. Also, on Tuesday afternoon we look forward to welcoming Alan Crump who will be leading our worship. On Friday the team from Tempest Photography will be in school taking the annual Class Photos, please help everyone to make a special memory by sending everyone looking smart for the camera.

On Thursday afternoon Mrs Wake will be holding her 2nd Kids Aloud Composing workshop. Also, on Thursday afternoon Mrs Crisell will be rehearsing with chosen science ambassadors for the special presentation which they have been asked to give to the Royal Society for Science.

Important dates for the dairy can be found on the school website. A few key dates that you will want to note are below:
