Welcome to another busy week at RTS,

This is always a special week in the year of the school as the children spend time to remember those who lost their lives in the service of their country. The children from year six will be visiting each class base with the tray of poppies. If you would like your child to have a poppy, please send them into school with a donation. On Friday we will be holding our special service of remembrance, including 2 minutes silence at 11am.

On Monday after school the choir will hold their first after school practice as they prepare for the festive season. It will also be TAG Rugby Club, weather permitting.

On Tuesday Ribblesdale will be holding a pyjama party during the day. We also look forward to welcome Peter Ingham to lead our worship on at 1pm.

Starting at 6.30pm on Tuesday we will be holding our KS2 Parents’ Reading Information Evening. We hope to see many of you there at what will be a highly enjoyable and informative evening.

The parents of children in Wharfedale will be having their delayed parents’ consultation evening on Wednesday and Thursday Evenings Online.

After school on Wednesday, it is week two of Lantern building club. Also, on Wednesday at 6.30pm we welcome the ‘Community Fit Team’ to RTS when they will be helping the school with Jobs as part of their aim to support the local community and keep fit at the same time.

On Thursday afternoon it is our annual Scholastic Book Fair, parents can come and buy books between 2.45 and 4pm in the school hall.

We continue to show prospective parents around school, please encourage friends and neighbours to book their tour if they are looking to send their child to RTS in September 2023.

Friday ends with weekly Tea and Cake for those invited from each class because of excellent behaviour and good manners. After school it will be week two of chess club.

For those parents who like to access social media RTS has launched its own Instagram account rtsharrogate. It will feature weekly updates on things that happen at school, please follow us if you have an account.
