This week is an important one for the children in Year Six as they sit their national tests. We wish all the children well and know just how hard they have worked this year. If you have a child in Year Six who is unwell this week, please contact the school as soon as possible so that we can plan for them to resit the test at a later date.

On Tuesday some of the children in year 3&4 will be taking part in a Tri-Golf Tournament at Harrogate Golf Club, good luck to everyone who is taking part. On Wednesday the gardening club will meet with Mr Groves to check on their vegetable seedlings; the new veg box has arrived, and everything is coming to life in the polytunnel. The National History Society are holding their annual conference in Harrogate on Friday and Mrs Rothera, as our history coordinator, will be attending what will a really interesting event.

All of the school’s clubs will continue this week, they include Cricket Club, Choir, Animation, Science, Board Games and Chess Club.

The week beginning 15th May sees the children in Year Six looking forward to their residential at Scargill House, we hope that the weather will be kind to them and we look forward to seeing plenty of photographs of the children enjoying themselves.

The photos below show the coronation celebrations and the children including board games club.
