Pantomime

On Monday we had a special treat: M&M Theatrical Productions gave us another great performance. This time it was A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens – it was amazing.

Maths

This week in maths we have been learning how to find the area and perimeter of triangles and parallelograms. To find the area of a triangle, you have to multiply the width by the height then divide it by 2. We were also finding the perpendicular height of a triangle and a parallelogram which is when you find the top point on the shape and draw a line down the way in a straight line with a ninety degree angle where it meets the base.

English

In English, we have been given a mystery photo of one of the teachers at Hogwarts and we have had to write double adjectives, relative clauses, vocabulary and negative language in our description of them. After we had done that, we wrote it in our books with a lot more detail and then the rest of the class had to guess which character it was from our work.

ICT

In ICT we are researching the Komodo dragon this particular topic is really enjoyable for everyone in the class. Did you know that the Komodo dragon were very well known in the past for robbing grave yards in order to eat the dead bodies?
